FAQ
How do you photograph babies & families?
I love all things babies, we try to make it as comfortable as possible for you and your bub. I''ll send you a guide of potential props and colours that will best work with your decor.
We will work with you around your bubs sleep patterns. If you would like mummy and me (or daddy) photos done as well, it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your outfit choices for the day so we can be cohesive with props and backgrounds. I want to capture all those tiny features and those little expressions they make.
Create your visual story
We can help you create your visual story from bump to birth, capturing all those raw, emotional, crazy and funny moments that make you and your family. We can help you to colour co-ordinate, best photogenic locations and best time of day to shoot for outdoor sessions.
I know what its like after giving the last thing you feel like doing is getting in front of a camera, it can be a overwelming and chaotic but beautiful time in your lives and those are the moments we want to capture for you.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Gold coast based and yes I can to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with your photos within 2-4 weeks upto 8-10 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download your photos from the gallery and order extras if you like, all you have to do is love/heart your favourites. Or we can do a in person viewing of your photo story and receive a USB drive if your internet downloads have limits.
How many pictures will we receive?
Depending on the package you choose you can always upgrade to receive all your fully edited images once you have seen them. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos that tell your visual story.
Mummy makeover
Need make up and hair done? We have a makeup artist nearby if you would like a mummy makeover. For me a little self care helped me feel good after birth, even getting my nails done or having foot massage made a big difference.
We focus on your baby and your connection and choose the best camera angles and lighting for you.
Unsure what to wear? We can help with colour pallet to co-ordinate.
When is the best time? Morning or before sunset
Where is a good location? Depending on the look you are going for we can suggest locations for you.
Can I make payments? Yes if you book in advance we can start payment via square and potentially Afterpay coming soon.
Do i need to get my hair/makeup/nails done? We suggest you dress and get ready as if you were going on a date, so you
don't look drastically different from your natural self that everyone knows and loves.
Can you make my skin look flawless? If you don't feel your best, let's face it we have good days and bad days.
I will do my best to make you look naturally beautiful.
Can you keep my photos natural? YES we can do minimal edits for your gallery.
Can you print my photos? Yes we have packages for digitals and prints.
